Telework may give companies a competitive edge as
market surveys show in evidence. To ensure this advantage,
secure, fast, convenient, and cost-efficient access
to the corporate voice and data network is an indispensable
requirement.
That is exactly what even the smallest members of
the Epygi Quadro product family, the Quadro2x and
the Quadro2xi, provide. They are both IP PBXs and
Internet Access Routers as well as being small but
fully-fledged PBXs in one box.
Teleworkers, Road Warriors and Traveling Salesmen
are able to establish IP calls for free within the
corporate voice network. More than that, they may
dial in via the local digital or analogue PSTN and
reach every extension connected to the corporate phone
network for local fees only. It makes no difference
whether it is in the next town or in another continent.
They even may take part in a virtual conference called
by the headquarters' QuadroCS.
The Quadro2x and the Quadro2xi extend the corporate
data network into each of the remote offices using
Virtual Private Networks (VPN) to establish secure
connections through the insecure Internet.
With Quadro devices, Teleworkers and Road Warriors
have the same working environment at their disposal
as they would have at any large corporate office.
